Wendi Bogard's Vision Statement:
KCDA will provide our members with powerful educational & musical experiences. We will strive to enrich lives through innovative & diverse programming and high artistic standards.

What KCDA means to me:
I am not a native Kansan and I did not go to college here, yet my entire teaching career has been in the state of Kansas. As a young teacher with no Kansas support system I recognized early on that I was going to need help from other choir directors. A KCDA member invited me to the reading session at KMEA and I was struck by the number of outstanding choir directors and music teachers gathered at that session. I picked up a flyer and registered for my first summer convention. Through KCDA I have made connections on both sides of the state. My KCDA friends are my support system, sounding board, and cheering section. They have encouraged me to serve in leadership roles as well as attend regional and national conventions where I have heard amazing performances and discovered outstanding music that I would not have found elsewhere.

KCDA has made a huge difference in my life and I want to continue to provide high quality conventions for current & future choral educators in our state.
